RF Tech Engineering (http://www.rftechengineering.com) produces custom made and pro-grade lightweight wire and vertical antennas that work well with HF thru VHF equipment from O to 30MHz and up thru VHF (172 MHz). They would work well with ALE equipment and are weatherproof, ruggedized. Their professional grade antennas are designed to withstand harsh weather conditions and phsyical abuse. I believe they might even be doing NVIS antenna designs as well, but they aren't listed.

They do other RF stuff as well, enclosures, cable harnesses, etc. It's a little startup company down in Richmond, Virginia -- antenna specs are listed on their site.

Best of luck, cheers !

Hey, drop me a note, I'm interested to find out if you have contacted a few folks I know in SpecOps regarding this Valour-IT project. No need to slam these hard working folks if you've already contacted them.

And, glad to see we are getting more US Air Force team members this year! Whoo-Hooo!!! :)
